Why are bridal services more expensive than other services?
Here are the reasons why:
- This is a luxury service we provide while making you feel pampered. You can have a relaxing experience and enjoy your time with your bridal party. We bring our services to you and our professional team packs up their kits/chairs/lighting etc for your comfort & convenience.

-We have had countless hours of training and education to ensure we know how to work with all age groups, skin types & skin conditions, hair types etc. so that we may turn your vision into a reality on one of the most important days of your life.
Top of the line products -We invest in our tools and professional grade products. We are trained airbrush artists and use the best HD airbrush on the market to ensure that you will look your most flawless on your wedding day.
Professionalism and reliability- when you book with our company you are hiring a reputable business with an actual store front. When your wedding date is secured with us, we take it very seriously and provide you with the best in luxury service.

We pride ourselves in ensuring our brides feel the most beautiful and confident on their special day. Yes, it is only one day but your pictures will last a lifetime.
Do we give discounts or negotiate prices?
We do not give out discounts or negotiate prices. Our prices our set. We run our business fairly and if we offer discounts or work with budgets we would need to do that with every client. Our team needs to be compensated fairly for any work they perform.
Can I book a regular service for my bridal makeup or hair?
You cannot book a glam or natural makeup service for your wedding day. These services are excluded for bridal. Our bridal services are specially created for brides and we take pride in our work to ensure you feel your most beautiful on your special day.
Can I have my bridal party pay for their own makeup/hair?
No, we do not accept multiple payments from the wedding party. This can get very hectic and confusing if we have the whole party calling to pay. We collect one payment for the deposit and one payment for the wedding day. We recommend getting Venmo or Paypal so that way your party can pay you back for the deposit and wedding day payment.
What kind of makeup do you use?
We have a wide variety of makeup in our kits. We do not use just one brand. Makeup Forever, MAC, Smashbox, Tarte, Too Faced, Benefit, Urban Decay, Laura Mercier and Anastasia Beverly Hills plus many more brands.
If there is a certain brand you like or if you have a foundation you would prefer us to use please let your artist know beforehand. If you have any allergies or sensitivities to a specific brand please let us know.
Will my makeup last the whole day?
We use waterproof eyeliner, mascara and airbrush makeup for our brides. We use liquid lip stains and setting powders to ensure your makeup stays on all day. Please keep in mind that if you eat anything greasy or anything that has a vinaigrette, your lip color may come off as oil breaks down makeup.
If I booked a trial is my wedding date secure?
Your wedding day is secure only if you payed your deposit and have a signed contract with us.
If you are unsure about booking with us and want a trial we recommend that you book a trial as soon as possible (about 12 months before wedding day) to ensure you get the time and artist you are wanting. If you have a trial, your date is not guaranteed and can be booked by another party. We will give you a courtesy call beforehand in the event that it does happen.
I hired another hairstylist/makeup artist, can they do services at your studio?
Do to liability reasons we do not allow any other makeup or hair stylists that are not employed at Blush to work in our studio.
Do you go onsite?
Yes, we specialize in onsite makeup & hair. We have an onsite fee of $75 for Monterey, Carmel, Pebble Beach and surrounding areas. For Big Sur and beyond our onsite fee is $150. Mileage fee is charged per round trip.
Can I get my deposit back if i change my mind?
Our deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances. We recommend you make sure that you want to book us for your special day. We take the time to pre reserve your makeup and hairstylists and block out their schedule so they are reserved just for you.
Can I request a certain artist or stylist?
We recommend you book a trial or book your date up to 12 months in advance to ensure you get the artist/stylist you requested. Artists are booked by availability and if you wait too long they might not be available.
How do I book for my wedding?
Please call us at our studio or email us so we can check our availability. Important information that we need to move forward with booking is: wedding date, Services requested and number of members in your bridal party in need of services, location of makeup & hair services & time you need to be ready by. Once you approve & sign contract and pay your deposit your wedding day is secure.
